CHENEY, Wash. — Police arrested two men for attempted murder and other charges in Cheney on Saturday evening, according to Cheney Police Department.
Around 5:45 p.m. on July 19, CPD responded to a report of a man with a handgun outside of a home near Ash Street and N. 3rd Street in Cheney.
When they arrived, officers found 46-year-old Martin Julien outside the home with a black pistol and 44-year-old Riley Smith.

He was arrested on charges for both incidents and booked into Spokane County Jail for attempted murder, burglary and threats to kill.
Smith was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail for attempted murder, burglary and an active misdemeanor warrant.
