STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — At least two homes have been lost in the nearly 7,800-acre wildfire burning near Northport.
According to Stevens County Emergency Management, around 20 other structures, including barns, cabins and other outbuildings, have also been lost in the fire.
The Hope Fire has burned over 7,700 acres and is 25% contained.
Evacuations south of the fire have been downgraded. Northport Flat Creek Road is still closed to traffic.
