Justin Timberlake hit a sour note during his recent performance at the Lytham Festival in Lytham St Annes, England — and it wasn’t because of the music.
According to fan-shot video shared to TikTok, the pop star was seen visibly screaming at his stage crew after a technical issue forced him to cut his set short. Timberlake appeared frustrated, shaking his head and throwing sharp hand gestures at two crew members.
The most ironic part? He was in the middle of performing his 2002 hit “Cry Me A River” — the famously icy breakup anthem rumored to be about his ex, Britney Spears.
No official statement has been made, but fans online were quick to react to the outburst. Some defended the singer’s reaction to the tech issues, while others called out the public meltdown.
Either way, it was a very emotional performance.
