Professional basketball player and Chelan-native Joe Harris has retired.
The announcement was made Thursday, August 15.
Harris play four years at Chelan High School under his father Joe Harris Sr.
Harris would go on to play 10 years in the NBA including seven years with the Brooklyn Nets.
Most notably, Harris won the 2019 NBA Three-point Contest and is the all-time leader in three-pointers made for the Nets surpassing Jason Kidd.
Harris retires after being released by the Detroit Pistons in February.
