LINCOLN COUNTY, Wash. — Firefighters are warning conditions may cause a wildfire burning in Lincoln County to expand Friday afternoon.
According to incident command, the Western Pines Fire has burned more than 9 square miles, or about 5,900 acres about 10 miles north of Davenport.
Firefighters say the cause is human but the exact cause is still under investigation. The fire is 0% contained as of Friday afternoon.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says the most recent evacuation orders are for Green Canyon, Mill Canyon, Harker Canyon, Farr Road and Angel Springs Road.
