SPOKANE, Wash. — Two legendary tribute bands will recreate the music of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones at Spokane’s Fox Theater this summer.
On August 5, the high-energy production, ‘Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Showdown’- will pit the iconic music of The Beatles against The Rolling Stones in an electrifying concert experience featuring tribute bands Abbey Road and Jumping Jack Flash.
The show is part of a 125-city North American tour that has played over 2,200 performances to sold-out audiences across the United States, Canada and Mexico. A Los Angeles Times critic called it “the most unique tribute show in decades.”
Fans can expect to hear classics including “Hey Jude,” “Come Together,” “Satisfaction” and “Gimme Shelter.”
“If the British Invasion had a house band, we’d hope to be it,” said Chris Paul Overall, who performs as Paul McCartney in the show. “There’s something electric about seeing these songs played live and watching audiences relive such a powerful era of music.”
Joey Infante, who portrays Mick Jagger, said the show creates an interactive experience for audiences.
“It’s not just a concert—it’s a celebration,” Infante said. “People come in costume, dance in the aisles, and sing along. You can feel the love for both bands in the room.”
Tickets range from $35 to $75 and are available at www.foxtheaterspokane.org. The Fox Theater is located at 1001 W. Sprague Avenue.
