COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Kootenai County Fire and Rescue is inviting the community to celebrate the lives of two firefighters lost during an ambush on Canfield Mountain.
On Thursday and Friday, a procession will begin around 10 a.m. for Battalion Chiefs John Morrison Jr. and Frank Harwood. The procession will start at English Funeral Home, travel south on 3rd Street, east on Sherman Avenue and continue south on Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive to the memorial ceremony location.

While the ceremonies for the fallen firefighters are private events, the community is invited to safely line the route along the procession.
