COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — A wildfire believed to have been intentionally set to ambush firefighters in Coeur d’Alene on Sunday is now contained.
According to Idaho Department of Lands, the Nettleton Gulch Fire burning on Canfield Mountain is now 100% contained at 23 acres.
IDL says closures for the area are still in effect as crews continue to manage what’s burning.
Law enforcement believe Wess Roley started the fire to lure firefighters into an ambush that killed two and wounded one.
IDL says the cause is still under investigation.
