COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Festivities are underway already for this year’s Fourth of July Celebration in Coeur d’Alene.
This year’s celebration began Thursday morning with the Kiddie Parade on Sherman Avenue starting at 10 a.m.
If you missed that parade, though, you still have the chance to catch the main event Friday morning.
The American Heroes Parade down Sherman Avenue is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. This year’s parade holds extra meaning, as it will honor the two battalion chiefs shot and killed while responding to a wildfire in Coeur d’Alene on Sunday.
After the parade, you will be able to enjoy live music, food, local vendors and more at this year’s Festival in the Park in CDA City Park. This festival starts at noon and runs until dusk.
Once dusk rolls around, make sure you don’t miss the fireworks spectacular to end a truly memorable day.
