GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol will conduct high-visibility enforcement patrols this weekend in Grant County.
This patrol will take place from June 20 through June 22. It will focus on stopping unsafe driving behavior, such as speeding, aggressive driving, impaired drivers or bad passing.
“Excessive speed and aggressive driving statistically save drivers very little time but greatly increases the risks to the driver and the many innocent bystanders they share the road with,” said Jeffery Andersen, WSP Wenatchee Sergeant.
WSP said it will also be on the lookout for people using electronic devices while driving or people not wearing their seatbelts.
