POST FALLS, Idaho — Residents of Post Falls will have opportunities to weigh in on the city’s growth, development, and community investment happening over the next 20 years.
Funding for the planning project was approved by the city March 18, 2025.
The Post Falls City Council and Zoning Commission met for a joint workshop Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
The workshop included a review of the long-term plan to discuss land use and infrastructure policy, community engagement/public input, data and trends that could shape the future of Post Falls, a preview of the new project website, and a Q&A session.
City leaders say the plan will be updated every five years over the course of the next two decades to reflect changing needs, goals, and conditions.
City officials said they will begin community engagement efforts on the 20-year plan at the Post Falls Festival July 11 – 13 for residents who want to provide feedback or have questions.
