WELLPINIT, Wash. — Cougar sightings were reported in the Wellpinit area on Tuesday, according to Spokane Tribal Police.
Around 4 p.m. on June 3, STP said a cougar was seen near Wynecoops Field by the fairgrounds.
A cougar was also seen 30 minutes later near Martha Boardman Road.
In areas where cougars could be present it’s important to stay alert and keep a close eye on small children and pets.
