SPOKANE, WA — The Northeast Youth Center’s annual lemonade stand is now open, marking a beloved tradition for the community.
Each year, children from the Northeast Youth Center come together to run the lemonade stand. The funds raised will go toward an end-of-summer field trip, with destinations including Triple Play or Chuck E. Cheese.
This tradition, which began several years ago, has both teachers and students collaborating. The lemonade stand not only supports the field trip but also highlights the center’s commitment to providing enriching experiences for local youth.
The Northeast Youth Center offers a range of services, including affordable activities, before and after-school care, sports programs, and special events. Its mission is to foster a culturally enriching environment where children feel respected and valued.
The lemonade stand will be open until 3 p.m. today, Friday, August 9 at the Northeast Youth Center, located at 3004 E. Queen. Visitors can enjoy homemade treats and refreshing lemonade while supporting a great cause.
