SPOKANE, Wash. — This year’s Hoopfest fun will kickoff with hundreds of people working together to set a world record!
On June 27, hundreds will gather at Northern Quest Center Court to play the world’s largest game of knockout!
Knockout, also known as ‘bump’ or ‘lightning,’ is a basketball shooting game where players try to shoot and score a basket while knocking another player’s ball out of the way.
This year, Spokane Hoopfest Association said it is going for a world record with over 700 players for the knockout showdown.
The game is open to players ages 8-years-old and up.
Everyone will play with the same official 29.5″ Men’s Game Ball.
Registration is required and costs $5 per person.
The game will tipoff at 2 p.m.
