SPOKANE, Wash. — Fire crews responded to a small fire on the South Hill on Wednesday night, according to Spokane Fire Department.
Around 8:30 p.m. on August 7, SFD responded to a reported fire near 42nd and Regal.
When they arrived at the scene, crews found a small, slow-moving fire, in a grassy area, where people often walk their dogs.
SFD said they quickly knocked down the fire and it did not cause damage to any nearby structures.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
In late July, a 13-year-old was arrested for starting one of several fires lit on the South Hill.
SFD did not confirm if the incidents are connected.
