SPOKANE, Wash. — You may qualify for a monthly utility bill credit through the city of Spokane.
According to the city, low-income seniors or disabled property owners who are eligible for Spokane County’s property tax exemption could get up to $15 off their monthly utility bill.
This amount is evenly divided across the city’s water, sewer and solid waste collection services. Customers who receive only one or two of these services will get a prorated credit based on how much is used.
Once approved, you will see the credit reflected on your utility bill starting the month after acceptance into the program.
If you believe you may be eligible, you can apply for the program here.
