This week dropped a wild mix of trailers and teasers that have the internet buzzing. From heart-pounding dino action to a return to the chaotic kitchen, here’s a quick rundown of what to watch and why we’re hyped (or in some cases, horrified).
🦖 Jurassic World: Rebirth – A Roaring Return
Hold onto your butts—again. The new trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth is here, and it’s giving major nostalgic-meets-terrifying vibes. Dinosaurs are back (shocker), but this time the stakes feel bigger. More grounded, more primal. There’s jungle, there’s chaos, and of course, there’s that haunting raptor screech that triggers our fight-or-flight.
But let’s be honest—I’ll be watching this solely because Jonathan Bailey in glasses is doing something to me. I don’t know what switch it flipped, but apparently “handsome men in spectacles surrounded by carnivorous reptiles” is my new aesthetic. No shame.
🐾 Zootopia 2 Teaser – Back to the Beat
The teaser for Zootopia 2 just dropped, and even though it’s short, it’s sweet. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are back, and while we don’t get much in terms of plot, the slick animation and quick glimpses of new characters are enough to get excited about.
Also, my son is probably going to lose his mind over this one. He’s in that perfect age range where talking animals solving crime is basically cinema perfection. Looks like we’ve got a movie date coming up.
🎈 Welcome to Derry – Just Call It It Again?
The trailer for the It prequel series Welcome to Derry is out, and let’s be real—it looks like another round with Pennywise. It’s creepy, intense, and beautifully shot. But if you told me this was It Chapter Three, I wouldn’t question it.
That said… I will not be tuning in. Clowns absolutely terrify me. I’m still low-key traumatized by the OG It from the ’90s (if you know, you know). So I’ll be skipping this one and sleeping with the lights on just from seeing the trailer thumbnail, thanks.
🍽️ The Bear Season 4 Trailer – Back in the Kitchen
Yes, Chef! The Season 4 trailer for The Bear is finally here, and it’s just as stressful, beautiful, and chaotic as we’ve come to expect. Carmy and the crew are back, navigating the heat of the kitchen and their own messy lives. There’s tension, passion, and that signature heart-pounding editing that makes The Bear feel more like a thriller than a food show.
Confession: I haven’t started this series yet, but after watching this trailer, I might finally need to add it to my watch list. Everyone keeps raving about it—and now I get the hype.
Which trailer are you most excited about? Whether you’re all about the dinos, digging the Disney sequel, in the mood for a scare, or hungry for more Bear, this week’s drops definitely served up something for everyone.
