SPOKANE, Wash. — With Memorial Day coming up, the City of Spokane wants you to be aware of several closures in place.
City Hall and other city facilities will be closed on Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day. All Spokane Public Library branches and Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services will also be closed.
311 employees will not be available on Monday for in-person, phone or online inquiries. Development Service Center employees will not be available.
Garbage, recycling and yard waste services will be a day late all week. If you normally get Friday services, they will happen on Saturday.
On-street parking meters and kiosks will also be free on Memorial Day. All parking rules, including time limits, still apply.
The Looff Carousel, Numerica SkyRide and Numerica Skate Ribbon will be open all weekend for families to enjoy. City golf courses will be open normal hours and certain splash pads around the city will be open ahead of the holiday weekend.
