SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane posted a reminder Tuesday that the last day for citizens to request a waste disposal pass for the spring season is Friday, May 16, 2025.
The disposal pass covers up to $30 in tipping fees, to allow people to get rid of extra junk on their property.
The waste is collected and taken to the Waste to Energy Facility on Geiger Blvd.
The City reports nearly 198 tons of waste has been collected since the start of the spring.
Over 2,400 passes have been requested since the start of March.
The program will resume on August 5, 2025, with passes being available through the 29 neighborhood councils in Spokane.
