SPOKANE, Wash. – Families gearing up for back to school can get a free pair of shoes and other supplies for the kids this Saturday.
The Spokane Eastside Reunion Association in partnership with The Way to Justice is offering a free community event Saturday August 10 from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Underhill Park.
At the event, organizers will be giving away shoes, backpacks, and school supplies to children in grades K-12.
There will also be free lunch, a slushie truck, field games with prizes, face painters, balloon animals, a watermelon eating contest, dance contest and low-cost raffle tickets to try and win bicycles, TVs, laptops, toys, speakers, and more.

Kids who are registered will receive shoes first between 12 and 1:30 p.m. but those who don’t register can see if there are shoes available in their size from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
