SPOKANE, Wash. — You may notice red illuminating parts of Spokane this week.
Seven buildings across Spokane will glow red in honor of National Nurses Week.
During the week, The GESA Credit Union Pavilion, MultiCare Deaconess Hospital, MultiCare Rockwood Clinic, MultiCare Valley Hospital, Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, Washington State University CCRS Building and Steam Plant will glow red as a tribute to the men and women working in the nursing field.
National Nurses Week runs from May 6 to May 12 and honors the over 5 million registered nurses working in the healthcare industry.
