COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Multiple brush fires broke out along Interstate 90 near Coeur d’Alene on Friday.
According to the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department, one of those fires happened near 15th Street and spread along I-90.
A second smaller fire was also found near the 4th Street off ramp.
Firefighters say the fires were likely caused by hot brakes or trailer chains dragging behind a vehicle.
The fire department says things are already starting to dry up and please make sure trailers chains are secured so they don’t drag in the roadway.
