SPOKANE, Wash. — Firefighters knocked down a fire in a remote area of Spokane Friday morning.
The fire broke out around 7:30 a.m. at a home on Thorpe Road near D Street.
Firefighters say no one was inside at the time of the fire but the small home was a total loss.
SFD says the fire was in a remote area and difficult to get to. This forced crews to upgrade to a full response due to the reported smoke in the woods.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
