SPOKANE, Wash. — Spring has arrived in Spokane, and with it comes a whimsical shopping experience at the Guardian this weekend.
The Enchanted Marketplace will fill the interior of the old church, located at the corner of Washington and Sinto in North Central Spokane, this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The market will feature a variety of local vendors selling handcrafted goods ranging from bath bombs and jewelry to leather goods, pottery, and fairy-tale accessories.
“This one’s our first time doing the Enchanted Market, and it’s more of a whimsical fairy, gardens spring theme,” said Ashley Warner of the Guardian. “All of it’s handcrafted, very curated, handpicked vendors. And, yeah, just to support our local community.”
The event aims to provide shoppers with an opportunity to discover unique items while supporting local artisans and businesses. Visitors can browse through an array of handmade products, potentially finding unexpected treasures.
For those looking to grab a bite while shopping, a taco truck will be stationed outside the venue, offering food options throughout the event.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Enchanted Marketplace will also host a costume contest. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best whimsical attire, garden fairy costumes, or perhaps a garden gnome.
