SPOKANE, Wash. — Hundreds of youth from across the Inland and Pacific Northwest are gearing up for the 2025 Junior Livestock Show of Spokane.
From April 30 – May 3, young agriculture enthusiasts from around the region will gather at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center to showcase their cattle, hogs, chickens, goats and more for the 90th annual Junior Livestock Show.
“This event is something we look forward to all year with great anticipation,” said Cindy Lyden, President of the Junior Livestock Show of Spokane. “An equal amount of time is spent on planning and organizing in order to execute a next-level type event, filled with high-level competition, educational opportunities at every turn and community celebration in the name of youth and agriculture.”
The Opening Ceremony will begin April 29 at 6:30 p.m. Competitions will focus on breeding, fitting and showing.
The Awards Presentation and Closing Ceremony will take place on May 2 at 5 p.m.
On May 3, attendees can purchase locally raised beef, chicken and lamb and goat while supporting the show’s youth participants.
