SPOKANE, Wash. — One person was arrested for intentionally starting a fire in an apartment at the Agnes Kehoe building.
According to the Spokane Fire Department, crews were called out to a fire at the building on March 22. When they arrived, they found a fire burning inside a bathroom of a second-story apartment.
SFD says an activated sprinkler in the hallway just outside of the bathroom had contained much of the fire even before fire crews arrived.
The building was evacuated while firefighters worked to put out the rest of the fire and shut off the sprinkler system.
SFD says the fire was intentionally set.
The person living in the unit was later arrested by Spokane Police.
