SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — The City of Spokane has expanded its communication efforts by joining BlueSky.
BlueSky is a social media platform similar to X/Twitter, which allows users to share short posts, images, and videos.
The City of Spokane asks BlueSky users to connect with the City and Mayor Lisa Brown by following @spokanecity.org and @mayorspokane.bsky.social on BlueSky.
According to The City of Spokane, it will continue to engage with the community through its existing social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, Nextdoor, LinkedIn, Vimeo, and YouTube.
The city also invites community members are also invited to subscribe to the Community Update and Mayor Brown’s monthly newsletter for the latest information.
