SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — With the weather starting to warm up, it’s the perfect time to get outside and tidy up your yard!
On Saturday, March 29, Spokane County Fire District 8 will host a free ‘Yard and Garden Collection Day’.
During the event, you can drop off your residential yard and garden waste at Station 82.
Waste must be natural and cannot include branches over three inches in diameter and/or six feet long.
Root balls, soil, lumber, trash and commercial loads are also prohibited.
Drop-off is between 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., or earlier if containers reach capacity, at SCFD8 Station 82 (12100 E. Palouse Highway).
