ROSALIA, Wash. — Arborists are working to remove hazardous trees at the Horn School Rest Area on U.S. Highway 195.
According to the Washington Department of Transportation, some trees, including a large cottonwood, were determined to be safety risks due to rot.
Crews will continue felling trees through Thursday, and the rest area will remain closed until the work is complete.
