POMEROY, Wash. — Firefighters have lowered the evacuation levels for the Lower Granite Fire burning north of Pomeroy in Garfield County.
People living in the evacuation zone should now be aware of the fire but do not need to leave (Level 1).
The Lower Granite Fire has burned over 14,000 acres and is 50% contained.
