SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Three wildfires burning in Spokane County are now all contained, according to the Department of Natural Resources.
DNR reported Thursday morning the Columbia Basin Fire, Cemetery Fire, and Mullen Hill Fire have all been 100% contained.
Local firefighters will now monitor the burn areas as needed.
The largest of the three fires, the Columbia Basin Fire, burned 252 acres, destroyed three homes, seven outbuildings, and damaged a fourth home.
The Cemetery Fire was held at 44 acres damaging one outbuilding.
The Mullen Hill Fire was fully contained Wednesday and did not damage property.
