SPOKANE, Wash. — Two astronauts who have been stranded in space for months are getting a helping hand from the Inland Northwest.
On March 12, Spokane’s Anne McClain is leading a crew aboard Space-X’s Dragon to rescue astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams.
Wilmore and Williams have been stuck on the International Space Station since June from what was supposed to be a week-long mission.
After helping Williams and Wilmore, McClain’s crew will remain on the ISS for four months.
Liftoff is scheduled for 4:48 a.m. and you can watch live at Nasa.gov.
