ATHOL, Idaho – One of the beloved wooden roller coasters at Silverwood Theme Park is getting a big upgrade this summer!
Silverwood announced a “seismic upgrade” to Tremors, a wooden coaster that has operated at the Idaho theme park since 1999.
The coaster will be transformed with “Millennium Flyer” trains, a second train and a new steel track for a smoother ride.
Silverwood says the tunnels will remain the same along with the top speed of 64 miles per hour, but that the coaster will have “fresh new feel that enhances every twist and turn.”
Silverwood opens the weekend of May 3rd. You can find more information about tickets and this season’s special events at this link.
