POST FALLS, Idaho — The Post Falls Police Department is looking for a man suspected of shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend Sunday.
According to police, the caller told authorities her boyfriend had been shot, and she saw the suspect leaving the home on a home security camera.
Officers found a 46-year-old man dead inside the home.
Police identified the suspect as 47-year-old Jason M. Rook who is believed to be an ex of the caller.
Authorities believe Rook may be armed and is likely driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Idaho plates KJI17U.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Rook on charges of first-degree murder and burglary.
Post Falls police ask anyone who sees Rook, or the vehicle is asked to call 911. Those with information are urged to contact the Post Falls Police at (208)773-3517.
