If you’re driving through central Washington, be aware of closures along US-97 on Sunday afternoon.
According to WSDOT East, as of 1 p.m. on Sunday, US-97 is closed in both directions at milepost 176, about 28 miles south of US-2.
The closures were caused by multiple snow slides.
Drivers should use an alternate route. WSDOT said Sunday afternoon there’s no estimated reopen time.
