SPOKANE, Wash – Spokane voters are so far passing a school levy that would support Spokane Public Schools.
SPOKANE SCHOOL DIST PROPOSITION NO. 1 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND OPERATION LEVY
The Educational Programs and Operations Levy would replace a current levy that expires next year. Voters were asked to continue the levy to bring in funds for 2028, 2029 and 2030.
The levy makes up 15% of the SPS annual budget and costs an estimated $875 in property taxes for a home worth $350,000.
Last year, voters said yes to Spokane Schools as part of the Together Spokane initiative. That bond covers capital projects, while this levy supports programs and operations.
