SPOKANE, Wash. — Families looking for Halloween fun in Spokane have several options this Saturday, including a guided walkthrough of the historic Campbell House at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC).
The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture is inviting families to step back in time this Halloween weekend with a guided tour of the Campbell House, the oldest museum in Spokane.
Visitors are encouraged to come dressed in their best costumes. The tour includes a scavenger hunt, and guests will receive a bag of treats.
“Campbell house is just one of those houses you think of going into on Halloween,” said Linda Strong, MAC manager of interpretation. “You get to see a house that’s over 100 years old, that’s been around Spokane since 1898, and it’s just a lot of fun.”
Tickets for the Campbell House tour cost $15 and include admission to the MAC.
The Campbell House is not the only family-friendly Halloween event in the city this Saturday.
The Spo-Candy Crawl runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Riverfront Park, giving families a chance to trick-or-treat along the downtown riverfront.
Downtown, the Trunk or Treat event takes over Post Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In Hillyard, the Market Street Tricks or Treasures event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
