Wednesday remains warm and dry with highs in the 60s and 70s, but rain chances and gusty winds arrive on Thursday, which will bring us colder weather for the weekend.
Wednesday remains warm and dry across the Inland Northwest as high temperatures reach the mid 60s to low 70s. These afternoon readings are approximately 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. It’s going to be an excellent day of weather!
Rain chances begin to rise Thursday, peaking in the afternoon and evening. Rain will be heaviest in the Central Panhandle and Southeast Washington, while Central Washington and areas along the Canada border are unlikely to get much rain with this system.
Breezy west winds will follow the rain on Thursday Night and Friday, creating elevated fire weather conditions and patchy blowing dust in Central Washington.
Temperatures will drop into the 20s and 30s Friday night as we see cloudier skies and mountain showers with highs in the 50s this weekend.
