SPOKANE, Wash – Amazon is hiring nearly 2,000 people in the Spokane area and 7,000 in the state of Washington as part of a massive holiday hiring blitz nationwide.
Amazon said Tuesday its hiring more than 300,000 people nationwide for seasonal, part-time and full-time roles.
The company says it will post new roles weekly from October to December, with some seasonal employees having the opportunity to transition to full-time positions.
Amazon also says its extending healthcare to seasonal employees who work at least 30 hours per week, but that won’t start until January 1st.
