SPOKANE, Wash. — Your favorite frozen treat can make a real difference for sick children in our community. Dairy Queen is hosting its annual Miracle Treat Day, a fundraiser where $1 or more from every Blizzard sold goes directly to the Children’s Miracle Network.
All money raised through the campaign here in the Inland Northwest supports Providence Hospital, ensuring funds stay local to help Eastern Washington families.
“They are (the funds) unrestricted, and they can be used for the most pressing needs, which can be specialized equipment, supportive programs, arts and crafts, whatever the need is the greatest,” said Mary Hollingsworth, Children’s Miracle Network Program Coordinator.
Beyond Blizzard purchases, customers can buy Children’s Miracle balloon icons to support local kids.
