OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — People near the Coyote Creek Campground in Okanogan County need to leave now.
According to Okanogan County Emergency Management, evacuations have been upgraded to Level 3 (GO NOW!) along Highway 155 on both sides from Coyote Creek Campground to Haley Creek, continuing south on Hailey Creek Road then south to Omak Lake Road to Columbia River Road and then south to Katar Valley Road.
Emergency Management says this is due to increased fire activity in the area.
People in this area should evacuate immediately towards Omak.
