BOISE, Idaho — Gov. Brad Little has waived day-use access fees at Idaho state parks as the nation celebrates its 250th birthday on July 4th.
The fee waiver allows visitors to access state parks without paying the standard day-use entrance charges. However, camping fees, reservations, and other services at state parks still apply.
“America’s story is one of freedom, opportunity, and enduring resilience,” Gov. Little said. “Here in Idaho, we are proud to carry those values forward. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to spend time outdoors, reflect on our nation’s history, and make lasting memories with loved ones.”
Those planning to camp or use other services at the parks should note that standard fees still apply to those activities. Visitors are encouraged to check with individual parks for specific details about available amenities and services during the holiday weekend.
