SPOKANE, Wash – Spokane Police shot and killed a man Thursday morning when responding to a domestic violence call in northeast Spokane.
Police say a woman called for help around 5 am. She was at a home near Montgomery and Cincinnati, just north of Gonzaga University.
Police say when they arrived, there was an altercation and police shot and killed the suspect.
When asked if the man also fired shots, Assistant Chief Matt Cowles says he did not have that information, but said that a weapon “was involved.”
The woman and children in the home are safe and no Spokane Police officers were injured.
