PULLMAN, Wash – The roster is slowly filling in for the Washington State University men’s basketball team.
WSU posted to Instagram Tuesday the addition of guard Lazarek Houston, a transfer from Division 2 Central Missouri.
It’s the second portal pickup in two days for the Cougs, who need to reload after losing most of this year’s team to the transfer portal.
Houston is a 6’1″ guard from Lincoln, Nebraska who played one season at Central Missouri.
He averaged 20.8 points, 5.1 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals for the Mules.
“From the corn field to the wheat fields,” WSU posted, announcing his signing.
Monday, WSU announced its first commit of the season, a forward/center from Manhattan named Fraser Roxburgh.
