SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Spokane Valley Investigative Unit detectives seized a kilogram of suspected fentanyl powder, thousands of pills and tens of thousands of dollars in cash during a March 19 drug bust, according to officials.
Detectives arrested Sarah L. Whited, 45, on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute after serving search warrants at a motel near the intersection of West Sunset Boulevard and South Lindeke Street and two storage units off of West Sunset Highway.
The seizure included approximately 1 kilogram of suspected fentanyl powder, over 3,100 pills suspected of containing fentanyl, more than $46,800 in U.S. currency, methamphetamine, scales, drug paraphernalia, a Jeep Wrangler and precious metals.
Whited posted a $50,000 bond and was released from jail on March 24. The investigation remains active, and authorities expect additional charges and arrests.
