The snow is coming down, and you’ll be dealing with slushy, wet accumulations as you make your way around the region this morning.
Plan Your Friday
Rain will begin to mix in with snow during the afternoon. Roads will become slushy and puddle-filled as highs reach up to around 40 degrees. Mountain passes will continue to see heavy snow, with another foot likely over Snoqualmie, Stevens, and Lookout. Heavy rain will lead to potential flooding around the Palouse and Central Panhandle. Flood Watches are in effect for the LC Valley area, and the Palouse River, and a Flood Warning is in place for Moscow on Friday night.
What We’re Tracking
High pressure builds this weekend, bringing the occasional breeze and only a slight chance of a shower until late Sunday. Mixed showers will return then through Monday afternoon.
Looking ahead to Tuesday through Thursday, a major warming trend arrives. Temperatures in the lowlands are expected to climb into the 60s starting on St. Patrick’s Day.
