SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — SCRAPS says its animal control officers were called to a Spokane home regarding a large number of dogs on Monday. They say the resident would not provide them access, but did admit they had ‘too many dogs’ and voluntarily surrendered 37 small mixed-breed dogs. An investigation is underway.
SCRAPS says fortunately, none of them have obvious medical concerns. Its rescue partner, Spokanimal, took 16 of them to their shelter. The county called 4 News Now just before 6 p.m. to let us know all the dogs and puppies involved at SCRAPS were adopted today.
SCRAPS adoption hours are Monday-Saturday from noon to 5:00 p.m. at 6815 E. Trent in Spokane Valley.
