LAS VEGAS — Top-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs men’s basketball advanced to the West Coast Conference Tournament championship with a 65-56 victory over the Oregon State Beavers.
Gonzaga secured its 29th straight appearance in the WC title game after opening a lead in the first half and maintaining control through a tough defensive effort.
Forward Graham Ike again led the Bulldogs with 24 points, continuing one of the nation’s most productive seasons.
The win puts the Bulldogs one win away from another WCC Tournament title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. Gonzaga will face the winner of the other semifinal game between Saint Mary’s and Santa Clara, the title game is set to tip off at 6 p.m.
