Spokane, WASH. — The Gonzaga Bulldogs will finish out conference play this week ranked in the top 10.
The Zags moved up to #9 in the new AP Poll released Monday morning. GU dominated USF on Wednesday at the Chase Center in San Francisco 80-59. The team narrowly beat out Pacific at home on Saturday, pulling away late to win 71-62.
Those wins, along with Kansas and Nebraska losses last week, helped propel the Zags back into the top 10. Gonzaga will look to redeem its loss against Portland on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the McCarthey Athletic Center. Then, they’ll finish the regular season on Saturday at St. Mary’s at 7:30 p.m. It’ll be the final game against the Gaels in Moraga while both teams are part of the WCC.
Duke claimed the top spot in the new poll after knocking off Michigan 68-63. Arizona is now second after a big win versus Houston. Michigan, Iowa State, and Houston round out the top 5.
