Winter weather makes its return to the valleys and lowlands tonight, but not before some rainy weather on Presidents Day Monday.
Plan Your Monday
It will be rainy, with light snow in the Northeast and north-central Washington into the afternoon. As the day turns to night, rain will begin to transition over to snow elsewhere. Evening snow is unlikely to stick, but that will change as the night goes on. Expect light accumulations and a little bit of slickness tonight to the north and to the east of Spokane.
What We’re Tracking
Snow showers and colder temperatures continue through the rest of the week. Snow will be hit-or-miss, so snow amounts from town to town and neighborhood to neighborhood will vary greatly. Odds are high that many locations will get at least an inch of snow by the end of the workweek, though not all of it may stick. Temperatures will warm again this weekend, removing the threat of snow.
